Terms and conditions
Read the Easy French terms template covering bookings, payment, cancellations, online subscriptions, attendance and consumer rights, pending final validation.
Template to be validated by Easy French before publication
These draft terms describe the framework for courses in Marseille and online. All marked details must be completed and the full document validated before publication or accepting payments.
1. Course provider
Easy French is the name used for the French teaching services described on this website.
[To be completed by Easy French: legal entity name, legal form, registered office, registration numbers, email, telephone and authorised representative]
2. Booking and confirmation
Send your course preferences through pre-registration. Easy French will confirm your place by email. Before a binding booking, you must receive the course description, dates, total price and applicable conditions.
[To be completed by Easy French: booking acceptance procedure, contract formation, minimum age, parental consent where applicable, group availability and confirmation times]
3. Prices and payment
The prices page lists the offers. Accommodation is excluded from the full immersion price and exam fees are excluded from DELF/DALF preparation. Online payment opens soon. Pre-register today and we will confirm your place. Secure card payment by Stripe is planned.
[To be completed by Easy French: VAT treatment, payment deadlines, any deposit, invoicing details and payment process before checkout opens]
4. Cancellation, changes and refunds
Ask about cancellation conditions before booking. Contractual cancellation rules must distinguish a learner cancellation, a change by Easy French and statutory rights. No provision may remove mandatory consumer rights.
[To be completed by Easy French: notice periods, cancellation method, refund amounts and timing, rescheduling, provider cancellations and accommodation provider terms]
EU 14-day withdrawal right for online services
Consumers generally have 14 days from concluding a distance service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Starting teaching during that period requires an express request. If you withdraw after requesting an early start, a proportionate charge may apply for services supplied. Loss of the right after full performance requires the legally required prior consent and acknowledgement. Digital content may have different conditions.
[To be completed by Easy French: withdrawal contact, model withdrawal form, required free online withdrawal function, refund procedure and service-specific consent wording; validate treatment of AI access and live teaching]
Reference for validation: French official guidance on online sales and services.
5. Monthly subscriptions
AI Tutor, AI + Teacher and AI + Teacher Intensive are monthly plans with no commitment. You can cancel any month. Cancellation must be available through the applicable online process.
[To be completed by Easy French: renewal and billing dates, cancellation function and steps, effective end date, access after cancellation, confirmation and treatment of unused lessons or corrections]
6. Attendance and lesson arrangements
Attend at the agreed time and let your teacher know if you cannot join. The policy for missed lessons must be available before booking.
[To be completed by Easy French: lesson scheduling, time zones, late arrival, absence, rescheduling notice, public holidays, pack validity and technical interruptions]
7. Learning, AI and conduct
Learning outcomes depend on your starting point and practice. AI is identified as AI and never grades official exams. Teacher review and the live support included in each plan are described on the offer pages. Treat teachers and other learners respectfully.
[To be completed by Easy French: access conditions, acceptable conduct, accessibility arrangements, response process for AI errors and any course termination procedure]
8. Liability and accommodation
The final terms must describe each party’s responsibilities without excluding liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Accommodation arrangements require separate confirmation.
[To be completed by Easy French: proportionate liability clauses, insurance information, responsibility for accommodation arrangements, activities, force majeure and service interruptions]
9. Complaints and disputes
Raise a concern through contact so it can be considered. Consumer mediation information must be provided where required.
[To be completed by Easy French: complaints contact and process, response timeframe, appointed consumer mediator, postal address, website and referral conditions]
10. Applicable law
French law applies, subject to mandatory protections available to consumers, including those applicable in their country of residence. The final terms must preserve statutory access to competent courts.
[To be completed by Easy French: legal review of governing law and jurisdiction wording, terms version and effective date]
